At The Refuge at New Liberty, we believe in the life-changing power of Jesus Christ and the truth of God’s Word. We are a Spirit-led, Bible-based church committed to building a refuge where the hurting find healing, the addicted find freedom, and families are restored in Christ.

Here’s the foundation we stand on:

  • The Bible – We believe the Scriptures are the inspired Word of God and our ultimate authority for faith and life.
  • God the Trinity – We believe in one God, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • Jesus Christ – We believe Jesus is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again to give us eternal life.
  • Salvation – We believe salvation is a free gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
  • The Holy Spirit – We believe the Spirit is active today, empowering believers with gifts, guiding us in truth, and transforming us into Christ’s likeness.
  • The Church – We believe the local church is a spiritual family where believers worship together, grow in discipleship, and serve others in love.
  • Revival & Discipleship Together – We believe true transformation happens when the fire of the Spirit and the truth of God’s Word work hand in hand. Revival without discipleship burns out, and discipleship without the Spirit dries up. We are committed to both.
  • Freedom & Restoration – We believe Jesus came to set captives free. At The Refuge, we walk with people into lasting freedom from addiction, healing for families, and hope for generations.
